My Story

I’m lucky. That much I’m certain of. Not in the “take this guy with you to Vegas, he’s automatic” kind of lucky, because I’m not really a gambler. I’m lucky in that so far life’s been good. I’m fortunate enough to have had a quality education. I was a pretty good athlete when I was young(er). I fancy myself a good communicator–on the page, on the phone, in person. I’ve made lasting friendships and solid professional connections in my time. I’m confident in my abilities to be a leader and a teammate.

I’m interested. In the things I love. My wife and three children. Writing that’s effective and honest. Design whose master is neither form nor function, only the perfect balance of the two. Social trends that connect people in ways we never thought possible. Creative marketing so good it puts the audience in an awkward position–do they risk not trying the product or service represented and miss out? Advertising that makes us laugh–because laughter is every human’s remedy. Music that makes you wish you wrote it. Sport that brings together the ordinary masses as one voice behind their heroes.

I’m rarely satisfied. I’ve dabbled in different markets, using creative intuition and concise, persuasive writing as the glue that keeps my game together. Instinctively, every opportunity has led me to pick up new skills. And every victory always reveals something just out of reach. So I keep on pushing, looking forward to the next great project, partner, collaborator.
